 While studying at Northwestern University (graduated 1992) Dr. Dae focused on economics and business. After graduating she spent six years as a software designer working for Fortune 500 companies. During that time she found her real passion was naturopathic medicine. Dr. Dae attended University of Bridgeport’s College of Naturopathic Medicine (graduated 2002) where she focused her elective studies on botanical medicine, homeopathy, nutrition and manipulation therapies. To continue her education and learning base, Dr. Dae attends seminars in all areas of naturopathic medicine whenever possible. She participated in an herbal studies program and has taken additional course in homeopathy with the National Center for Homeopathy.
As a naturopathic physician, Dr. Dae provides her patients with excellent care and unwavering compassion. As part of her community outreach, Dr. Dae conducts workshops focused on mental, emotional and physical growth. She also cultivates her love of food by teaching cooking classes in various venues in the Washington DC and The Richmond metropolitan areas. Dr. Dae appears on local and international radio programs talking about topics ranging from diabetes to menopause. Since 2006, Dr. Jones has become an adjunctive faculty member for SmithFarm Center for the Healing Arts where she teaches healthy cooking for people living with cancer and there caregivers. She is also a faculty member at The Center for Mind-Body Medicine’s Food As Medicine Professional Training Conference. In 2007 Dr. Dae authored her first lifestyle and recipe book Daelicious! Recipes for Vibrant Living. Dr. Jones is an avid traveler and reader, a founding member of the Unity Capital Partner Investment Club, a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. and Washington Area American Association of Naturopathic Physicians and a loving daughter, sister and friend.
